FUNCTION POINTER IN ARDUINO

FUNCTION POINTER In this tutorial we are going to see function pointer. A function pointer is used to points the starting point of a function. The function pointer must have same type of arguments as original function. CODE void fun(); void (*ptr[0])(); void setup() { Serial.begin(9600); } void loop() { ptr[0]=fun; ptr[0](); delay(700); } void fun() { Serial.println("EMBSYSTRONIX.BLOGSPOT.COM"); Serial.println(); } CODE EXPLANATION In the above code, a function void fun() is created An array of pointer function is created void (*ptr[0])(); void setup() In void setup function serial communication is enabled with baud rate of 9600 bits per second. void loop() In void loop function., the ptr[0] index stores the begining addess of a function fun; then the pointer ptr[0](); is called and it calls the fun() and it prints "EMBSYSTRONIX.BLOGSPOT.COM" repeatedly for 700 ms time delay.

WEATHER STATION USING DHT 11 WITHOUT LIBRARY

In this tutorial, we are going to develop a weather station using DHT 11 without a library using Arduino. COMPONENTS USED: · ARDUINO UNO · DHT11 · LCD 16 X 2 DHT11 The DHT 11 sensor is a 1 one wire module which is enabled by triggering the OUTPUT pin and also the data from the sensor is taken from same OUTPUT pin. The OUTPUT of DHT 11 is in the form of, First 8 bit is Integral part of Relative Humidity (RH) Second 8 bit is Decimal part of Relative Humidity (RH) Third 8 bit is Integral part of Temperature (T) Fourth 8 bit is Decimal part of Temperature (T) Fifth 8 bit is Summation of Integral 8 bit of (RH) and Integral 8 bit of (T) Here the total OUTPUT bits are 40. CREATE A LIBRARY IN ARDUINO

In this tutorial we are going to see how to create a library in Arduino in a simple and easier method. Prerequisite: Basics of C and C++ language In this example we are going to develop a LED ON and OFF using library. CODE WITHOUT LIBRARY In above code, 3 LED are connected in 2, 3 and 4 pin of Arduino UNO. Here we turn ON and OFF LED individually for 500 MS. Here the task is ON and OFF for all the LED. This CODE can be further simplified using Library. CODE WITH LIBRARY To create a library we need to create Header file, cpp files and the main code file. The header file is saved as .h and cpp file is saved as .cpp STEP 1: click New Tab STEP 2: name file as led.h STEP 3: name file as led. cpp HEADER FILE CODE In header file The #ifndef is a macro which is used for code protect.
